Dispatches: Will France’s State of Emergency Ever End?

Summary:
France is in the State of Emergency because some months ago, there were a terrorist attack, and the government decided to put this state on the country. While the country is in State of Emergency, the army can search in people's house without judicial warrants, and also they can impose control orders, in order to stop or difficult the movement of the people. All this affects mostly to the muslim people that live in France.

In 2016 Human Rights Watch, had known that the army enter in the houses with violence in the houses of these people, and sometimes they can traumatize the children that live there or break all the furniture that they have.

Opinion:
If we think, this is very stupid. I know that the government can be scared for more attacks, but not all the muslims are terrorist, or are they? The government of France should take out this State of Emergency because it's useless. It only brings problems and disgrace to all the families that are affected by this.

Final Reflection

My first post in batxillerat was this one and the last one is this.
When I see my first composition, I think that my english level was very bad. Now that we know more vocabulary than then, I see that I improved a lot, because now I can use the modals for example.

For the oral presenation, the first one was the presentation about the rusefeering (unfortunately I haven't done the self evaluation) and the last was about the oral presentation of my research project.
I remember my first oral presentation, and it was a disaster. I didn't talked the five minutes, I looked the paper all the time and I was nervous.
But now, with this last oral presentation, I see that I have improved. For example, I was nervous at one moment, that I have been like paralyzed and I couldn't say anything. My pronuntation I think that's the same as in first batxillerat and finally, I respected the time, I think that I talked like six minutes.

My best composition is the Human Rights e-mail to the president of the United States of Ameria.
I think that is the best because there are more technicalities than the other composition. And also because the mark of these one is the best mark in my compositions. Also I think that is better because the topic of the human rights is an important topic in our lifes, and maybe that's why I writed this.

My best oral presentation is the last one, the presentation about my research project. Why I choosed this? Well, I think that's the best oral evidence because the mark was great that the other oral evidence, and if we compare the vocabulary and the grammar that I have used, I think that is good enough.

Human Rights e-mail

Dear Mr President of the United States of America,

We are writing to complain about the violation of the article 16 in our country.

Basically, the epicenter of the problem is that the average of American population do not respect homosexual couples and marriages yer in the 21st century. We think that we live in a retrograde society that think that homosexuality is an ilness or something weird or strange or incorrect. In the majority of our states homosexual marriage is illegal.

Firstly, I would like to point out that the illegality of homosexual marriages is unnacceptable, based on the first article of human rights the human are born free and equal, so why two persons of the same sex that are free and equal could not marry.

Secondly, it will be good if our country takes more policies that help population to be aware of the true equality and respect.

In conclusion, we think that the change should begun from the upper social spheres from this country, we very much hope that you will look into this matter to change history.

Human Rights

The human rights are the rights that all the people in the world have simply because they are humans. These are rights becaue you are allowed to have, do or have things. They were created on 1948 in the United Nations. After a lot of constituions and people trying to stop war and discrimination, the Natural Rights evolved into the Human Rights. In total there are 30.
After reading The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, I didn't know the Article #16. This article says that the people can marry even if they are from another country or they don't have the same religion. For example here in Spain or in some european countries like , this right is respected because it doesn't matter what religion do you believe or where are you from, even your sexuality, here these people can marry. But in the african countries, these rights aren't respected. In Morocco two people that believe in diferent religion can't marry and if they are homosexual, they will die. In the city where I live, Beni Mellal, an homosexual was brutally killed and murderers removed the clothes of the murdered and put it on the street.
I think that's a shame because we all are human and we should respect the Human Rights.

Self Evaluation

Presentation: 7% Because the timing was 6 minutes and I used some images on the powerpoint.
Body Language: I will give me a 5% because I was very nervous and in some part I looked to the paper, but in some occasions I looked the people.
Structure: 7% The presentation was structured. firstly I talked about the author, then about some of his work and then I did a brief explanation of two characters, Goku and Vegetta and finally some curiosites.
Content: 29%
Language: Between 10 and 16%. I tried to use some technicalities but it was difficult for this theme.
Pronunciation: 6% Even that I don't pronunciate very well some words, I think that I did it well.
Final Mark: 70%

Can the Internet make the world a better place?

A lot of people asks if the Internet or the technology can make the world a better place to live. If we think it carefully we would say yes, but we have to see the pros and the cons.

Firstly the technology has helped a lot of people creating new medecines and new devices, and with these devices, the humanity can investigate even more things. Secondly the technology can be used for fun and for laugh for example the platform Youtube or Vine. Additionally, with the Internet we can communicate between us even if we live in different countries, or we can search information for our homeworks or research papers.

But there are some consequences with the Internet. Nowadays, a lot of hackers, rapers and kidnappers are on the network and it can be a dangerous place to stay. They can install some viruses on your PC and get some information like where do you live or some of your personal infromation. The kidnappers can use the Google Map app to search some coordinates and find houses and plan a kidnap.

In conclusion, I would say that the Internet is not a safe place at all but it is not a very dangerous place, all you have to do is set a safesearch filter or parental control to control this hackers and make the world a better place.

Places to visit in Japan

The first place you have to visit is the capital and the largest city, Tokyo.

Tokyo is also called Tokyo Metropolis and is one of the 47 prefectures of Japan. It is located on the Kanto region, in the Honshu Island.
It was originally caled Edo, which means estuary, but when the Emperor Meiji came, he changed the name.

In Tokyo there are a few places that you have to visit.

1.Shibuya: In Shibuya you can find a lot of cloth shops and a lot of people. There is the Statue of Hachiko, the dog who waited his master, and the Shibuya Crossing, where a lot of people walk there everyday. A lot of young people go there because there are some leisure places.


2.Akihabara: It is also know as Akiba. If you like anime and manga, you should go there. It is a place with a lot of shops. In this shops you can find some of old consoles or games like the Super Nintendo or games like Final Fantasy IV or one of the first Dragon Quest. The main area of Akihabara is located on a street just west of Akihabara Station, where most of the major shops are situated. Most of the electronics shops are just west of the station, and the anime and manga shops and the cosplay cafés are north of them.


3. The Tokyo Tower and the Skytree tower: The Tokyo tower is located on the Shiba Park and his design is based on the Torre Eiffel's one. It has 332.6 m long and his mass is 4000 t. It works like an antenna.
The Skytree tower is a broadcasting, restaurant and observation tower located in Sumida. His full height is 634 m and is the tallest structure in Japan, the tallest tower in the world, but it is no the tallest structure in the world. With the paronamic views, it has become one of the favourite's places to visit in Tokyo.

Another place that you have to visit in Japan is Nara. There are some shrines and temples that you can visit and you can walk a lot in this place. You can visit the Nara Park, where are lot of deers and you can buy some cookies and give them.

Angela Lee Duckworth talks about her experience on teaching on a public school. When she recieved the homework from her students, she saw that the IQ wasn't everything. She saw that the IQ wasn't very diferent between her best and worst student. That fact was important because it made her to study the mind of her students.
She said that she started to study adolescents and adults and she discovered that the key of success was the grit,
For me it was very useful and maybe for the people that have bad grades may be useful.

Is humor necessary?

Laughter is strong medicine for mind and body. Why do we tink this? We say this because it's a priceless medicine and I think that it's necessary for our daily routine.

First of all, when you laugh you relax your body and and relieve tension according to scientists, your muscles relax up to 45 minutes after. When you laugh or ou make someone laugh, you feel good happy.

Secondly, humor helps you to stay emotionally healthy, and when you are emotionally healthy, you are very possitive and optimistic. If you feel bad or lonely, humor and laughter can help you. Because, for example, if someday a friend of yours dies and you are sad, other people can help you to stay emotionally neutral or even better. The only thing they have to do is laugh and you will be caught up on it.

In conclusion, in this world we need more humor and laughter to stay healthy physically and emotionally, because it's better to stay happy than bad.

E-mail to the teacher

Dear teacher,

Right, now, in this moment I have some short term goals and I think that they are very important, and I hope that I will achieve them. One of these goals is to pass the baccalaureate. Another one is to earn good marks so I can study engineering. For these goals I will meet challenges like working with my parents or not having a lot of time to study, but I won't drop out the studies and I won't neglect my homework even if the things turn for the worst.
For the long-term goals, I would like to go to the university and when I finish the university I will go to Japan to study animaiton.

I know that I will face challenges and problems, and I know that I will fail, but with the knowledge of these failures I will try harder and I will succeed no matter what happens. In the speech, Obama has said two sentences: "You have to let your failures teach you", and "You become good at things through hard work", When I heard these two sentences I thought that I won't give up and I will keep going to make all the people who believed in me proud.

The sentence that I have chosen is "you have to let your failures teach you". This sentence, I think, that is very emotional and this can help a lot of people that fails a lot because they don't give any importance to the studies.

Looking Back is the key to Moving Forward

I think that I have improved my english. For example my first post in my blog was in 4th ESO and it was titled My mother. I described my mother but with very simple words. It was a short description because I was in the low group. And now I think I can write longer posts.
I'm not good in writing. I understand the texts and readings, but I don't know how to explain all the ideas, but I understand the listenings. And finally I think that my pronunciation isn't bad enough.

The activities that helped me to improve my English skills were the your says, watching films and the listenings. Because there were some words I don't know how to say it but with the movies I knew how to pronunce it. And with the your says I could put the things I learnt in 1st Batxillerat. Also with the oral presentations we use some technical words and use them in our posts.
I didn't found anything useless because we can learn a lot of things with all the activities we do in class, the homework and the oral presentation.

In second batxillerat we should do the your says to impove more our skills, vocabulary dossier to learn more vocabulary and we should read more books.

In my opinion, the next year we can pick a topic we are interested.

Have we made the world a better place?

A lot of people think that the world is a better place now than the past. They think this becasue they only think for themselves and don't care about the others. In my opinion I think the world isn't a better place now.

First of all one of the issue is the society. The society now I think is it the same as the past. Why?
Because a lot of men mistreat the women because they think that they are more powerful and more important than them.
Adding to that, the racism and the bullying are big problems in our society. They are connected because someone who bullies does this because the bullied one, is from another country. This can happen everywhere and very few people do something. The bullying and racism can give the suicide of the bullied people.

The second issue in this world are the wars. This currently happens more in the islamic countries, like Syria or Egypt. A few people don't care about the wars, but this is because they aren't in these countries fighting for their liberty.
Everyday a lot of people die and we can't do anything for them.
The people only do posts on Facebook saying this: "1 Like 1 help" or "Like to save this poor people". But this doesn't help anyone.

The third issue is the planet. This planet has limited resources and we are using a lot of them, and in the future we won't gave anything. For example the deforestation of the Amazon. It was a big forest and it was beautiful but now it's a desert. They chop the trees only for money, but the money doesn't buy the happiness.

And finally the pollution. We are producing a lot of CO2 and this can give a place to the acid rain. One of the most CO2 contributor are the factories, bringing out all the smoke. A lot of people don't know that we gave only one planet.

In conclusion I think the world isn't a better place. Maybe some years ago it used to be, but now it's like we are going back in time with the society issues, the wars that give a lot of dead and the issues with our planet and we  have to share this planet with everybody.

His name is Javier García and he has been living in Castelló since 1998, when he was born. Now he's studying batxillerat in INS Castelló d'Empuries. He's keen on boxing and playing videogames. And now I'm going to descibe him.

He's fond of of wearing fashion clothes. Javi is shortish for his age, brown-eyed and brown-haired. A beard is startin to grow on his face. He wears glasses and he has a piercing in his ear.

He's a person who is two-faced with the people he hates, he doesn't forgive you if you do something to him and he will revenge. He's generous, hard-working, now he works a lot for passing. He is aggresive if you insult him.

I think he is a good person and friend, because if someone wants to hit you, he will help you. And he will lend his homework to you if you need it.

The real story of the Little Red Riding Hood

Once upon a time in New York, Big red riding hood was smoking weed. Suddenly her phone rang. It was a costumer, her grandmother. She wanted some metha. She took the truck, because she used to drive a car, but the detective wolf caught her with that car.

When she crossed he street she found The wolf. He asked: What are you doing? And she answered nothing. After that, she ran away and a pursuit starts. Big red riding hood jumped off a bridge and the wolf stayed back.

Suddenly when she met the grandmother, the biggest distributor in the city. She gave the commision to her. But the wolf was with the SWATs and a gunfire started in the slum. After that, a lot of people were dead and a big explosion killed everyone.

Finally, Little red riding hood woke up because she had a nightmare. She was in a madhouse.
The madhouse anesthetitzed her because the woodcutter raped him when the wolf was eating her grandmother in front of her.

Differences and similitudes between Tracy & Chee Seng

The boy of the book Chee Seng and the girl Tracy are teenagers with some problems in their lifes.

The two teenagers have separated parents and this is a problem for their lifes. The story about Chee Seng happens in Asia  and Tracy's story happens in USA. 

They have some friends at the begining but when you read more in the case of The Best of Times? you can see that Chee Seng and his friends are distancing and the same happens in the film Thirteen with Tracy and her two friends. They meet a new friend and they go with him or her. 

Chee Sengs meet Ka Ting and Tracy meets Evie.

The way of Chee Seng to have fun  is going to parties with his new friends and his girlfriend, and Tracy is going and have some fun with boys.

The two teenagers liked to study and do their homeworks but later they were playing videogames or going with friends to drink and other things.
