Eleven children injured in Blyth park dog attack

Summary:
Yesterday, on a part at 18:30, eleven children were attacked by a dog, Three of the eleven children had to stay in the hospital because they have serious wounds. The rest of the children are injured and they expect that a little girls need a skin graft.  
The police still doesn't know why the dog attacked the children, but they arrested a 37 years old man because it was his dog who went out of control.
Now some children of the park are traumatized and they fear dogs.
The one who saved the kids was a father of the boys. He tied the dog on a fence until the police came to solve the problem.
Opinion:
The owner of the dog was an irresponsible and he caused a lot of damage as well as physicological and physical. I think that when he will go to the courtroom, the judge punish him to life imprisonment, because having a dog and don't take care of him, is unacceptable.

Summary:
Waverly Labs, a small company, had developed a small device that you have to put in your ear and this device can translate all the conversations that you are hearing. The company had talked to Apple and Google to make an app, so the device can work offline. But Waverly Labs isn't sharing information, and there is only a small demo to show the world that the device is working.
Opinion:
It's a good idea so all the people on the world can talk each other. And the fact that the device has to be sold in pairs, so all the people can talk, is brilliant. That would be useful for the people who love travel to countries that they talk another languages or for job or univeristy. You could go to a meeting and they can undersand you. But the schools and the teacher who teach languages can be unemployed.
In conclusion, this device will help a lot in our lifes.

Are all the people equal?

Maybe I am repeating myself, but this is a topic that is very important for me. The topic is the racism and the bullying. When I am going to class every day, in the hall I see some kids punching and yelling someone that seems weaker than them, and I think that these people are stupid. But not only in the highschool it happens.

Sometimes, when I go out with some of my friends, we go to the supermarket, we see a shop assistant pretending that some people doesn't exist even if they shout. The reason can be that these people are from another country, because if it's not, I don't think what's in the mind of that shop assistant.

I think that is not fair for the affected people. They have the same right to go shopping like the others, it's writed on the Declaration of the Human Rights.

New Lung Cancer Breathalyzer Provides Greater Chance Of Successfully Curing Disease

Summary:

Scientists from U.K had developed a breathalyzer that can help detecting lung cancer. The breathlyzer measures some organic compound in the breath that the patient exhales in order to detect this cancer. First this was initially designed to detect exoplosives and toxic gases.
The lung cancer cause 1.5 million deads every year and the cause can be the late diagonistication, for example 5 years late.
But now, with this new technology, the doctors can diagonistcate the lung cancer to the people that have it and they can be saved from death.


Opinion:
It's a good news knowing that some people are developing new technology and studiying new methods for helping the people. The hospitals that are trying this breathlyzer sure they are helping a lot, and the objective maybe is reduce the deads caused by this cancer, but I think that only the people who have money can go the hospital and the ones who doesn't have a lot maybe will die.
If this can save lifes, this should for all the people in the planet.

My TDR...

The past Monday I brought my research project finished to the high school. The previous day I sent an e-mail to my tutor of the resarch project and she didn't answer me, and she didn't saw anything. 

Yesterday I went to the library to talk with her about my oral presentation that I have to do the next Monday. She told me that I should forget about doing it because my research project was a shame. 

Maybe she is right, but telling me to don't do it I think it isn't very nice coming from her, considering that she is my tutor. Then the headmistress talked to me. She said that nothing was decided and it's the tribunal who gives the mark, not only her. And also she told me to do the oral presentation even if someone told me to don't do it. 

How all started

I think that my game obsession started when I was five or six years old. It all started with the Game Boy Advance and one the The Legend Of Zelda game. The game was TLOZ: A Link to the Past.

The plot of the game is simple: a mage named Agahnim is kidnapping all the descendents of the seven sages, and a hero called Link, a boy who comes from a noble lineage, has to help the kingdom of Hyrule of that mage.

The gameplay is not very difficult. You have a menu where you can select your gadges that you find in the dungeons, and some passives items that can help you, for example the Pegasus Boots or the Power Glove. There's also some puzzles in the game but they are very simple. The only way you can die in this game is against the final boss or against some annoying enemy.
The graphics are not spectacular because the game was first released for the Super Nintendo System and then for the Game Boy.

After finishing the game, I didn't think of it like a normal game, I thought that there is a great story after every game and I realized that a good game doesn't need a good graphics, it has to have a great story and good mechanics.

I'm addicted to...

Last week I turned on the computer and I saw something. It was a game called League of Legends, or LoL, and I started playing again, and I realized that I was addicted to the game again after leaving it some months.

To explain why I'm addicted again, I think that I have to explain briefly the game. In the game there are two teams of 5 players each one. The goal of the game is go the enemy base and destroy the nexus. In the game there is a jungle where some enemys spawn. In the lanes the players fight each other while they are killing the minions that the nexus is spawning.

And now, why I'm addicted to this game again? I don't know why I'm still playing it, maybe because I don't have anything better to do or maybe because I'm stupid.
The comunity of this game is worse than anything. When you play and you fail one time, they blame you and they insult you, but if they fail and you say like "Next time you will do it better", they will be angry and some times they will leave the game (AFK).

Dispatches: Will France’s State of Emergency Ever End?

Summary:
France is in the State of Emergency because some months ago, there were a terrorist attack, and the government decided to put this state on the country. While the country is in State of Emergency, the army can search in people's house without judicial warrants, and also they can impose control orders, in order to stop or difficult the movement of the people. All this affects mostly to the muslim people that live in France.

In 2016 Human Rights Watch, had known that the army enter in the houses with violence in the houses of these people, and sometimes they can traumatize the children that live there or break all the furniture that they have.

Opinion:
If we think, this is very stupid. I know that the government can be scared for more attacks, but not all the muslims are terrorist, or are they? The government of France should take out this State of Emergency because it's useless. It only brings problems and disgrace to all the families that are affected by this.

Final Reflection

My first post in batxillerat was this one and the last one is this.
When I see my first composition, I think that my english level was very bad. Now that we know more vocabulary than then, I see that I improved a lot, because now I can use the modals for example.

For the oral presenation, the first one was the presentation about the rusefeering (unfortunately I haven't done the self evaluation) and the last was about the oral presentation of my research project.
I remember my first oral presentation, and it was a disaster. I didn't talked the five minutes, I looked the paper all the time and I was nervous.
But now, with this last oral presentation, I see that I have improved. For example, I was nervous at one moment, that I have been like paralyzed and I couldn't say anything. My pronuntation I think that's the same as in first batxillerat and finally, I respected the time, I think that I talked like six minutes.

My best composition is the Human Rights e-mail to the president of the United States of Ameria.
I think that is the best because there are more technicalities than the other composition. And also because the mark of these one is the best mark in my compositions. Also I think that is better because the topic of the human rights is an important topic in our lifes, and maybe that's why I writed this.

My best oral presentation is the last one, the presentation about my research project. Why I choosed this? Well, I think that's the best oral evidence because the mark was great that the other oral evidence, and if we compare the vocabulary and the grammar that I have used, I think that is good enough.

Human Rights e-mail

Dear Mr President of the United States of America,

We are writing to complain about the violation of the article 16 in our country.

Basically, the epicenter of the problem is that the average of American population do not respect homosexual couples and marriages yer in the 21st century. We think that we live in a retrograde society that think that homosexuality is an ilness or something weird or strange or incorrect. In the majority of our states homosexual marriage is illegal.

Firstly, I would like to point out that the illegality of homosexual marriages is unnacceptable, based on the first article of human rights the human are born free and equal, so why two persons of the same sex that are free and equal could not marry.

Secondly, it will be good if our country takes more policies that help population to be aware of the true equality and respect.

In conclusion, we think that the change should begun from the upper social spheres from this country, we very much hope that you will look into this matter to change history.

Human Rights

The human rights are the rights that all the people in the world have simply because they are humans. These are rights becaue you are allowed to have, do or have things. They were created on 1948 in the United Nations. After a lot of constituions and people trying to stop war and discrimination, the Natural Rights evolved into the Human Rights. In total there are 30.
After reading The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, I didn't know the Article #16. This article says that the people can marry even if they are from another country or they don't have the same religion. For example here in Spain or in some european countries like , this right is respected because it doesn't matter what religion do you believe or where are you from, even your sexuality, here these people can marry. But in the african countries, these rights aren't respected. In Morocco two people that believe in diferent religion can't marry and if they are homosexual, they will die. In the city where I live, Beni Mellal, an homosexual was brutally killed and murderers removed the clothes of the murdered and put it on the street.
I think that's a shame because we all are human and we should respect the Human Rights.

Looking Back is the key to Moving Forward

I think that I have improved my english. For example my first post in my blog was in 4th ESO and it was titled My mother. I described my mother but with very simple words. It was a short description because I was in the low group. And now I think I can write longer posts.
I'm not good in writing. I understand the texts and readings, but I don't know how to explain all the ideas, but I understand the listenings. And finally I think that my pronunciation isn't bad enough.

The activities that helped me to improve my English skills were the your says, watching films and the listenings. Because there were some words I don't know how to say it but with the movies I knew how to pronunce it. And with the your says I could put the things I learnt in 1st Batxillerat. Also with the oral presentations we use some technical words and use them in our posts.
I didn't found anything useless because we can learn a lot of things with all the activities we do in class, the homework and the oral presentation.

In second batxillerat we should do the your says to impove more our skills, vocabulary dossier to learn more vocabulary and we should read more books.

In my opinion, the next year we can pick a topic we are interested.

Have we made the world a better place?

A lot of people think that the world is a better place now than the past. They think this becasue they only think for themselves and don't care about the others. In my opinion I think the world isn't a better place now.

First of all one of the issue is the society. The society now I think is it the same as the past. Why?
Because a lot of men mistreat the women because they think that they are more powerful and more important than them.
Adding to that, the racism and the bullying are big problems in our society. They are connected because someone who bullies does this because the bullied one, is from another country. This can happen everywhere and very few people do something. The bullying and racism can give the suicide of the bullied people.

The second issue in this world are the wars. This currently happens more in the islamic countries, like Syria or Egypt. A few people don't care about the wars, but this is because they aren't in these countries fighting for their liberty.
Everyday a lot of people die and we can't do anything for them.
The people only do posts on Facebook saying this: "1 Like 1 help" or "Like to save this poor people". But this doesn't help anyone.

The third issue is the planet. This planet has limited resources and we are using a lot of them, and in the future we won't gave anything. For example the deforestation of the Amazon. It was a big forest and it was beautiful but now it's a desert. They chop the trees only for money, but the money doesn't buy the happiness.

And finally the pollution. We are producing a lot of CO2 and this can give a place to the acid rain. One of the most CO2 contributor are the factories, bringing out all the smoke. A lot of people don't know that we gave only one planet.

In conclusion I think the world isn't a better place. Maybe some years ago it used to be, but now it's like we are going back in time with the society issues, the wars that give a lot of dead and the issues with our planet and we  have to share this planet with everybody.

Matt Smith

Matt Smith is british actor and he has acted in cinema and television. He is very famous because the acted in the series  Doctor Who as the eleventh Doctor. He did very well the role of the Doctor and he acted excellent. He is a good and funny person.
Karen Gillan and him are good actors when they are together.
He has acted in some movies: In Bruges as Young Harry Waters, Together as  Rob, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies as  Mr.Collins, etc.
And in TV: Doctor Who as the eleventh Doctor, The Ruby in the smoke as Jim Taylor, etc.
He has winned 4 awards and nomination and he also has 4 video games.
I hope he continues acting because he always brings a smile in the faces who watches him.

Steins;Gate the Movie: Burdened Domain of Déjà vu

The movie is the sequel of the series called Steins; Gate, the plot is centred in the love of the two characters, Makise Kurisu and Okabe Rintarou. The movie takes place one year after the series, where the main character, Okabe Rintarou, has travelled through the time to help his friends.
Now they live in peace, but some day he has a problem and he watches what is happening in the other timelines. Finally he disappears from the world and only one of his friends remembers him. Makise Kurisu has to find the solution and bring back his love.
The music was beautiful and the scenario was done to perfection. Also the animation can be one of the best animations.
I recommend this movie, if you like the animation movies, but if you didn't see the series you won't understand a lot of things.

Help the people

When I have free time I spend some time in Facebook and Twitter. Everything is normal but there are some posts that I'm not fond of. The reason is the next.
Someone publishes and image and the description of the image says: "Like and share if you want to help these people". They put a poor people image and some nice words, but this is useless.

They don't do anything, they only lie. I think they do this because they want popularity in the social medias. I think when they go out to the street, and they see someone poor begging, they don't give them anything. If they really want to help, they should go to a NGO and help.

UK watchdog to investigate children's online games

The UK's Competition and Markets Authority has asked the Advertising Standards Authority to investigate three online games aimed at children.

The CMA said that the online games affect the kids and this will make them to buy things inside the game. There were cases where the children had spend a minimum a thousand pounds. 

The CMA has given some advices to the parents. The parents have to check their bills, know what kind of game are playing their childrens and finally, check the device settings.

Opinion:

They have to put a parental control or before the kids start playing the game, they should know if it has the option of buying something in the game. 

Apple to refund $32.5m to parents whose kids made in-app purchases

Summary:
Some kids had bought some objects in game, and the parents weren't aware of this event. The kids download some apps and game to play, the apps are free and not free at the same time. This apps are called apps freemium, because there are some upgrades inside the game.
Apple saw that and they will refund $32.5m to all the affected people. They will send emails to all the parents because they cannot charge consumers for purchases they did not authorize.

Opinion:
Apple hasn't got any responsability, becuase it was the parents fault. They have bought iPad's and smartphones to the kids. They had purchased things because the credit card was linked to the smartphone.
The parents could put some password or parental control.

The people's problem

In our society a lot of people insults someone because they are afraid of the strongest one. The people who are stronger than the others, can use they force to intimidate and they can also give orders to the weakest ones. The "weakest" people aren't fond on flaming and insulting the people, but they are obliged to do it, and if they don't do it, the person who is in power will kick or hit them.
It's the same as bullying in schools but, right now, every day, someone is getting bullied.

I think that the bully has to put in the other people places and they have to know what the bullied people feels and what they suffered all the time when they were insulted by them.
What the people has to do is go to help the bullied people and go to the police and talk about the bully and what they do.
I think that's the only solution to this problem, because if we don't say anything, who will do it?

The dream of many people

Sometime in your life you thought you wanted to be rich. Why do the people think this?

They think if they were rich, they will have a lot of things, like a Ferrari or a similar car, a maid, a pool and a lot of money. They only know this face of this life. The other face is the next: The rich and famous people can't go outside because there will be a lot of photographers and they will take pictures of their private life. If they meet a girl the paparazzi will make up a new rumour about them.
They haven't got any time for themself because they are busy with the work or going to TV shows. They also have to go to places to help the poor people. If a rich one don't give money to help someone who needs help, his fans will flame and insult him.
On conclusion I think that this life is better, because we have got time for ourselfs and we know what is happines and friendship is. A lot of them can not know what is this feeling because maybe they forget this feelings or they don't know what is it.
